Like many others, French importer Peugeot has moved the reduce prices across its range in line with the 1 January reduction in import duty.
The effervescent 207 hatchback now slips below the $20K threshold with a recommended retail price of $19,990.91, while entry to the handy 207 Touring lineup now starts at $27,263.64.
Peugeot's cheeky 207CC convertible has dropped to start from $32,263.64 and the larger 308CC - a car we're keen on here at Car Showroom - which previously nudged $49K for its entry level, now starts at $43,172.73.
For the competent 308 hatch you'll need to find $22,718.18 to join that lineup (down from almost $27K) with the Touring version down from North of $31K to $29,081.82.
And the boldly-styled 407 mid-sizer has dropped from nearly $41K to start at $337,263.64.
Now more than ever, if you're keen on a European vehicle, don't just shop the German brands - the Peugeot and Renault lineups are better than ever and handily-priced.
