Mercedes-Benz has released preliminary details of the glorious new CLS lineup ahead of its global unveiling at the Paris Motor Show in October.
The new Mercedes-Benz CLS maintains the 'four-door coupe' style which was the hallmark of the model when it debuted back in 2003 - the long bonnet, narrow glasshouse, frameless windows and sweeping roof. But the front end is totally new and reminiscent of the stunning SLS AMG supercar with its separate radiator grille, large black air inlets and stunning, world-first, full LED headlights with a total of 71 LEDs providing illumination.
From the side, the new Mercedes-Benz CLS is distinguished by a more athletic look with a broad rear shoulder line and flared wheel arches, while the rear also looks broader and includes new wrap-around LED taillights.
For the interior, Mercedes-Benz has given the new CLS even more luxury with new semi-aniline PASSION leather, hand crafted stitching and five interior colours/trims (including a choice of three types of leather). You can also choose three types of wood finishes and trim in either seven-layer piano black gloss or carbon fibre.
Mercedes-Benz will announce the full technical details and Australian lineup around the time of the Paris Motor Show.
