It’s a ‘white-out’ for Jaguar Australia with all 10 of the superb Special Edition XKR coupe models headed downunder painted ‘Polaris White’. 

The stunningly fast and beautiful XKR Special Edition celebrates the 75th anniversary of Jaguar and will arrive on our shores in October.

Recalibration of the engine management system propels the XKR Special Edition to an increased top speed of 280km/h, however the supercharged V8’s output remains 375kw/625Nm.

Inside is even more luxury than standard XKR coupes with soft grain warm charcoal leather seats (16-way adjustable, heated and cooled) finished with Cranberry contrasting stitching, Jet Suedcloth premium headlining, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system with Kevlar speakers and Piano Black veneer for the trim. 

Externally, the sporty Cat gets a real makeover with a purposeful-looking aero kit, 20-inch Kalimnos alloy wheels in a gloss black finish, red-painted brake calipers and gloss black paint for the front grille and side air vents.

The standard XKR is one of the best cars Car Showroom has tested this year and the Limited Edition (priced at $272,00) stakes legitimate claims to being a ‘Supercar’.
