These are the first official pics of the all-new Audi S3 Cabriolet scheduled for global debut in a couple of weeks at the Geneva Motor Show.
Featuring Audi’s new 220kW/380Nm 2.0 TFSI turbocharged, four-cylinder petrol engine, the four-seat open-top coupe accelerates fom zero to 100km/h in 5.4 seconds.
Styling is – as usual for Audi – brilliant with nicely flared wheel-arches and chrome strips around the windscreen and beltline signifying this is a cabriolet version of the S3. The front grille is platinum grey with a chrome frame.
The soft-top roof runs lightweight magnesium and steel in its support structures and a sound-insulating foam layer keeps noise levels down.
Inside is the usual Audi opulence with glorious Nappa leather and Alcantara, plus the S sports steering wheel. Special pigments in the leather help keep the seats cool when out in the sun.
