Despite earlier this week seeing fresh snow in the Victorian Alps, Sydney being battered by savage storms and the Harbour City’s beaches still being hammered by massive surf, summer is just around the corner we’re told and right on-cue Audi has wheeled-out the awesome cabriolet version of the S3.
In fact it’s the first-ever combination of Audi’s new compact model with the sporty ‘S’ goodies.
And priced at $69,300 we’re thinking we’ll be seeing plenty of Audi S3 Cabriolet models cruising beach-side this summer.
The S3 Cabriolet brings you 210kW/380Nm worth of 2.0-litre TFSI engine performance matched with Audi’s awesome Quattro all-wheel-drive system for zero to 100km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
Just as impressive is fuel consumption rated at 7.1l/100kms.
For an even sportier drive, head to the options list and select Audi’s magnetic ride variable damper system.
As you expect from Audi, the S3 Cabriolet arrives bristling with specifications including Xenon plus headlights, sports seats in fine Nappa leather (fronts heated), MMI Navigation Plus, 18-inch alloy wheels, an extra-quite acoustic roof, ‘S’ specific bodykit, ‘S’ exhaust system with quad tailpipes and ‘S’ sports suspension.
A $4,990 ‘S’ Performance package would be on our list as it adds 19-inch alloy wheels (a choice of two designs), ‘S’ sports seats, Audi magnetic ride suspension ‘S’ design red brake calipers, LED headlights and Bang & Olufsen audio.
