Audi has raised the bar again with news the stunning all-new S3 Sportback is priced at $59,900.
The high-tech, high-performance German can be ordered from Audi dealers now with deliveries scheduled from December.
Tipping the scales 70 kgs lighter than its slick predecessor, powered by the 206kW/380Nm 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine and driving all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro system and a six-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission, the S3 Sportback is Audi at its best. Underneath is the ‘S’ sports suspension system.
And don’t think that super-sharp sticker price means skimping on things. On the outside, the Audi S3 Sportback comes equipped with Xenon plus headlights with LEDs for the tail-lights and daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an ‘S’ sports bodykit and exhaust system with quad tailpipes.
Inside there’s Nappa leather sports seats (fronts heated), the glorious leather-wrapped, flat-bottom sports steering wheel, MMI navigation system and Audi Music interface with Bluetooth music streaming.
A $4,990 ‘S’ performance package adds LED headlights, Bang & Olusen audio, ‘S’ sports Nappa leather seats, Audi magnetic ride suspension, red brake calipers and ‘Star’ design 18-inch alloy wheels.
