We’ve seen it, we’ve sat in it and we can assure you the all-new Citroen Cactus is one hip compact SUV and it’s available for order now ahead of arrival in Australia early next year.
With its innovative body-protecting ‘Airbump’ panels and a massive list of personalization choices Citroen says the head-turning Cactus offers some 23,184 combinations of features and styling options.
The Citroen Cactus will launch with a choice of two drivetrains – PSA’s 81kW/205Nm ‘PureTech’ turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine driving through a five-speed manual transmission or the 68kW/230Nm 1.7-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Prices are $26,990 for the petrol model or $29,990 for the diesel.
As well as that attention-grabbing exterior, the innovations continue inside the Citroen Cactus with features like a bench front seat the for the diesel or a sofa style front seat for the petrol and the front passenger airbag is fitted in the headlining which frees-up the dashboard area for extra features and space.
Standard features include a seven-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system, six-speaker Arkamys audio system with DAB+ radio, a reversing camera, 17-inch Cross bi-tone alloy wheels, tyre pressure monitoring and a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel.
