Here’s a smart move from Opel, General Motor’s German subsidiary – a 24-hour test drive. Now, if you’re considering a new Opel, borrow one for 24-hours to see how it fits in your garage and performs in your daily grind.
Because, let’s face it, the traditional ‘once-around-the-block’ test drive is less than ideal for what is a major purchase decision (although now we think about it, you don’t get to sleep in a new house, use the kitchen or bathroom before purchase!).
Called the ‘German Exchange Program’ the 24-hour test drive is part of a package from Opel which also includes ‘Driveaway’ prices across the range. That means the three-door Opel Corse is now priced from $16,990 'Driveaway’, the five-door Opel Astra hatchback is priced from $22,990 ‘Driveaway’ and the stylish Opel Insignia sedan is priced from $39,990 ‘Driveaway’.
“We’ve had a solid start in Australia since our launch in September and we’re excited to be starting 2013 with a strong product focused campaign,” revealed Opel Australia chief Bill Mott.
