Two Volkswagen Golf models – the fuel-sipping ‘BlueMotion and sporty GTI – have topped their segments in Wheels magazine’s 2011 Gold Star Value Awards.
The Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion showed a retained value after three years of 64 per cent, while the GTI showed 63 per cent and was commended for its fuel economy.
“Our multi award-winning Golf GTI continues to outshine its competitors for its everyday capabilities and performance, whilst the Golf BlueMotion proves that Volkswagen’s fuel efficient BlueMotion technology is indeed value for money,” enthused Volkswagen Australis chief, Anke Koeckler.
