More interior space and a better driving environment thanks to tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustment and a tablet-style touchscreen – these are a few of the highlights we can expect inside the all-new Toyota HiLux ute when it arrives in October.
WorkMate variants will run seats in hard-wearing black fabric rather than vinyl.
SR and SR5 models score carpet and high-grade seat cloth whilst SR5 Double Cab 4x4 Turbo Diesel buyers have the option to upgrade to a leather-accented trim with power adjustment for the driver’s seat.
There’s also an air-conditioned box capable of heating or cooling two 600ml bottles.
Toyota says the 31 variant Hi-Lux range will come standard with cruise control, air-conditioning, a centre console box and power operation of windows, mirrors and door locks.
There will be two new turbo-diesel engines, two petrol engines, three transmissions, three body styles and three equipment levels.
All Toyota HiLux pickups will have a reversing camera and cab chassis operators can select a reversing camera as an accessory.
