From a pure styling point of view, Suzuki’s Regina concept car concept was one of the Tokyo Motor Show stars.
The cutting-edge looks are highlighted by an unusual, rounded front end, deeply sculptured sides with partly covered rear wheels and a dynamic rear-end with stark four-strip tail-lights. All in the name of aerodynamics Suzuki says.
In fact lightness and that slippery shape are the path chosen by Suzuki to deliver minimal fuel consumption for the Regina. The radical newcomer tips the scales at just 730kgs.
Inside is a futuristic dashboard layout with a ‘floating interface’.
Power comes from a 0.8-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine with auto start-stop and driving through a CVT automatic transmission.
