This is the fabulous-looking Renault R.S. 01 racing sports car which is destined for the ‘World Series By Renault’ series next year but we keep hearing from our European contacts that a road-going version is under development.
Designed by Renault’s styling guru Laurens van den Acker, the Renault R.S. 01 does look much too stylish to just be a race car but with its 375kW powerplant and a carbon monocoque chassis delivering an all-up weight of less than 1,100kgs…well there would need to be some work to convert to a road car.
