Jettisoning the make-believe world of concept cars, Renault has revealed its good-looking Captur compact SUV crossover in production form ahead of its global unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Clearly targeting the so-called ‘school run mums’ Renault says the compact Captur is an ‘unaggressive’ crossover with small hatchback agility, an MPV-like spacious/modular interior and SUV-like styling and high seating positions.
Using the new Renault chassis platform used for the B-segment Clio, the Captur is handily size at 44.12-metres in length and closely follows the look of the earlier Captur concept vehicle.
Power will come from a variety of petrol and diesel engines with full details coming at Geneva in March.
