Honda has launched an improved two-model Insight Hybrid range with no changes to price tags ($29,990 for the VTi and $33,490 for the VTi-L.
Styling changes include a new front bumper and grille plus new rear lights, a thinner rear window spoiler and new alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tyres. Both models gain LED DRLs.
Inside are new instruments, new seats and trim materials, extra storage locations and increased rear seat headroom thanks to an improved seat design and revisions to the roof lining.
Those low rolling-resistance tyres and improvements to the engine and driveline result in an even more fuel-efficient Honda Insight. Combined cycle fuel consumption is down by 6.5 per-cent to 4.3l/100kms and exhaust emissions now rate at juts 103g/litre (5.5 per-cent cleaner).
“Sharper styling, enhanced driving dynamics and better fuel economy make the Insight excellent value for money,” explained Honda Australia’s Stephen Collins.
