Honda’s slick Insight hybrid is now available from just $29,990 ‘Driveaway’ – underscoring its price advantage over Toyota’s Prius.
Based on the Honda Jazz platform, the good-looking five-seat Insight is well-equipped and of course its hybrid drivetrain delivers impressive fuel consumption of just 4.6l/100kms (around 37 per cent less than equivalent conventional small cars).
Power comes from Honda’s 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and the associated Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) electric motor.
