Mercedes-Benz Australia has confirmed just 32 examples of the superb C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series will start arriving in Australia in April next year (three for New Zealand).
The awesome 6.3-litre V8-powered AMG version of the C Class Coupe is listed at $245,000. Worth every cent in our view as it unleashes its 380kW/620Nm to deliver zero to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds.
Following the success of the CLK 63 AMG Black Series and SL 65 AMG Black Series, Mercedes-Benz Australia was quick to raise its hand for the C63 Coupe version when it was unveiled a few months back at the Frankfurt Motor Show. However massive worldwide interest has seen the local allocation capped at the above numbers.
The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series runs unique aero enhancements for the bodywork, massive 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels and four individual AMG sports seats. Underneath is AMG sports tuned suspension and AMG rear axle differential lock.
On the options list are an aero pack and – interestingly – a track pack featuring semi-slick Dunlop tyres and transmission cooling for track day action.
