With the order rate running at double the predicted level, Mazda has announced it will boost production of the top-selling CX-5 SUV.
That’s good news for local buyers who have been rushing to Mazda dealerships since the CX-5 was launched a few months ago. In June the Mazda CX-5 was Australia’s best-selling SUV.
Good news for buyers in Russia too where already orders are held for 10,000 Mazda CX-5s – the company predicted annual sales of 12,000!
Mazda has upgraded its Ujina Plant No.1 to enable production of the SKYACTIV components which are the heart of the new CX-5 and this will boost annual production to 240,000 vehicles per year.
