Performance enthusiasts are the winners in HSV’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.
The iconic ‘Hot Holden’ division has launched a new HSV Maloo ute, priced at $58,990 and ClubSport sedan ($64,990). Both those prices are ‘Driveaway’ and represent handy savings over the high-equipped R8 versions.
The Maloo version runs a standard tonneau cover, but for an extra $3990 you can option the Maloo R8 version.
Under the bonnet, the entry-level Maloo and ClubSport run HSV’s 317kW version of the 6.2-litre V8. Inside are cloth seats while externally these models are identified by 20-inch ‘Pentagon’ model alloys wheels.
HSV R8 models haven’t missed out on the anniversary party, in fact they’ve been improved thanks to mid-year running changes such as 20-inch ‘Blade Silver’ alloy wheels, leather interiors and extra urge under the bonnet – power for the 6.2-litre V8 now rated at 325kW (torque remains at 500Nm). Prices go up by $3,510.
On the luxury side, HSV’s Senator Signature goes up to $86,990 with additions including 20-inch Dark Stainless alloy wheels and standard Side Blind Zone Alert.
