Ford Australia will auction a V8-powered Mustang GT Fastback in Guard Metallic to help raise money for breast cancer.
The Mustang up for auction is 8th Mustang built for Australia and will help support Dr. Fiona Simpson’s research at the University of Queensland’s Diamantina Institute
The Auction for the mustang went line on the 7 December at 8pm AEST and will run until December 17.
Unless you are one of the 3,000 Australians who have already put down a deposit for the new Mustang, this might be the only way to get your hands on one. According to reports from Ford last week the Ford Mustang already sold out until at least 2017.
‘Ford is committed to serving Australians beyond just providing quality vehicles,” said Graeme Whickman, Ford Australia President and CEO. “That is why we’re auctioning one of our first Mustangs to raise funds for breast cancer research.”
“Ford’s support goes way beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month each year and has an immense impact on what we’re able to achieve through research,” said Acting CEO, Jackie Coles.
