Renault’s cute all-electric ZOE is now in Australia – sort of.
Just weeks after the newcomer was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show a disguised version has been flow to Australia for engineering tests. Accompanied by a team of engineers, the camouflaged Renault ZOE has been on the road in Melbourne and Perth.
Apart from its good looks, the big deal about the all-electric Renault Zoe is its range between battery re-charges – claimed to be 210kms.
“ZOE represents the future of Renault. It embodies our new design language, showcases our technical excellence and heralds a new era in motoring. And it has been designed to be as affordable as possible,” enthused Renault Australia boss Justin Hocevar. “The aim of testing the new ZOE in Australia is to ensure we are responding to the specific demands of the Australian market – from daily driving to cooling systems for our climate.”
