BMW has secured 50 examples of the M3 Coupe Pure Edition II for the local market.
The latest version is priced from $145,000 – and following the sell-out of the first edition, BMW reckons the newcomer (available to order from March to July production) won’t hang around in showrooms for too long.
This time around, the BMW M3 Coupe Pure Edition II comes in a wider selection of colours including the standout ‘Fire Orange’, Dakar Yellow II, Laguna Seca, Sepang Bronze and Imola Red.
Wheels are 19-inch ‘M’ double spoke designs, there is a high-gloss black air intake on the bonnet and dark chrome finishes for the grille, side sills and exhaust tips.
Inside the BMW M3 Coupe Pure Edition II is distinguished by a BMW Individual handbrake lever and chequered flag inlays.
Like all BMW M3s, the Pure Edition is powered by BMW’s glorious 309kW/400Nm V8 engine driving through the variable M differential lock. Zero to 100km/h takes just 4.8 seconds and fuel consumption is rated at 12.4l/100kms.
