BMW will use the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance weekend in California on 13 August 2015, to show off the BMW Concept M4 GTS.
The BMW Concept M4 GTS is set to continue the tradition of BMW M Division that dates back to 1972.
BMW has taken technology that has been developed in in racing, increased the power and limited the production run to off a truly unique M4 coupe.
The BMW Concept M4 GTS will use the same water injection system technology that is used in the BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car. The system provides a significant output and torque boost from the engine.
“While the BMW M4 Coupe embodies the ideal combination of motor sport genes and unrestricted everyday usability, the BMW Concept M4 GTS previews an emotionally powerful and exclusive special model conceived with an eye for trailblazing technology and a keen focus on the race track,” explains Frank van Meel, President BMW M Division. “Despite its outstanding track ability, it is still
fully road-legal. This is racing technology for the road in the truest sense.”
