BMW famous ‘M’ high performance division is celebrating its 40th anniversary and to get things rolling, the all-new M3 Coupe ‘Frozen Silver Edition’ has been announced in England although there’s no news yet about Australian plans.
The Brits will get just 100 of the special M3 coupes, and the add just £4,000 (about $AU6,000) to the price of a regular M3.
No mechanical changes for the 309 kW/400Nm V8 coupe, but there’s lots of unique stuff to add to the M3’s appeal.
For starters there’s a new ‘Frozen Silver’ metallic paint which contrasts with ‘Dark Chrome’ exhausts, side air vents and grille surround, ‘Jet Black’ bonnet intakes matt black alloy wheels.
Inside is ‘Black Novillo’ leather, combined with ‘Palladium’ leather for the armrests and inserts – all with contrasting stitching – carbon fibre trim elements and an alcantara steering wheel with M3 chequered flag logo.
