The Skoda Kodiaq lineup gets one more sibling.
After adding a Scout to the range, Skoda has seen it fit to hot up its first SUV, the Kodiaq, with a ‘Sportline’ trim to bring it in line with the rest of its offerings. And we understand why: Hot SUVs are all the rage right now, and it would be foolish of them not to.
There’s the typical smattering of black finishing on a number of exterior items, like the grille, the door mirror housings, the window trim surrounds, while the bumpers see unique designs with silver trim at the back and black ‘fins’ up front. The Kodiaq Sportline will be offered with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with 20-inch wheels available as an option. Also available as an option is Adaptive Dynamic Chassis control, which we believe will be offered across the range.
No changes to the the drivetrain or the chassis, but there’ve been some changes to the interior. The Kodiaq Sportline gets Alcantara seats with silver stitching, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and aluminium pedals.
While the Australian lineup of the Kodiaq has yet to be announced, the Kodiaq Sportline has been confirmed for an Australian introduction sometime in the middle of the year.
