I bought my Challenger new in May 2011 . Its a manual / poverty pack ' , but I could'nt be happier . Its up to 8 thou ks now and I have taken it on 2 runs , 1 to coffs , car alone , and 1 to South West Rocks with a 1.2 t poptop van . I was worried about the fuel consumption so did not turn on the fuel consumption section in the centre dash display til haly way there and was totally surprised to see a reading of 13 lts per 100 ks . I thought it was wrong until I did the reurn trip 4 days later and got the same reading . Excellent . My father has a 100 series cruiser and thought he would pass me on the hills , we went in tandem . He never got close and I only dropped back to fourth on 4 hills between the Central coast and Kempsey . I was doing between 100 and 105 depending on the speed limit by the way . Its great to drive and good to drive . At the moment I can't fault it . I even convinced my now retired boss to buy one , I think he got an LS .They say its noisy cold or first up . I told my father about that and then we went and had a listen to his 05 diesel cruiser and it was noiseir even to him , so its not that bad . If you buy 1 I hopes its as good as mine . As the ad says /Love that car / and I do .

We purchased our challenger for 2 reason's, one to take the Grand kid's for trips. The 2nd is for towing our caravan round tassie it's pretty hilly around here .
The van weighs around 1900kg with all our gear the 2.5lt does it with ease @ average 15.5lts to the 100.
Extremely happy with our choice of vehicle plus the safety of 6 air bags.
