Looking at this first official image of the all-new Mitsubishi Challenger, we suspect the next time Mitsubishi does a ‘sneak pic’ it will be of a white car in the snow!
Anyway, black-on-black images aside, Mitsubishi says the all-new Challenger will bow next month in Thailand (where it is called the ‘Pajero Sport’).
The current Mitsubishi Challenger is a tough-as-nails SUV based on the Triton ute platform and the all-new model will ride on the all-new Triton platform.
So it’s likely to be a much better steer than the current generation Challenger (some rank the all-new Mitsubishi Triton ahead of Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50 for best-in-class driving dynamics).
While keeping the ‘Cone Of Silence’ on most details of the all-new Challenger, Mitsubishi did say the styling will feature the company’s new ‘corporate’ ‘Dynamic Shield’ grille – aka it will look like the Triton.
