Volkswagen Passat has been named Motor Trend 2012 Car Of The Year at a press conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Australian Angus MacKenzie, Motor Trend’s Editor-In-Chief, said: “Chassis, steering, ride and handling all are tastiest within this segment. It’s in this category the bigger Passat really demonstrates its engineering excellence.”
North American Passats are manufactured at Volkswagens plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
