To celebrate 25 years of its excellent Multivan people mover, Volkswagen has launched a highly-specified ‘Edition 25’ model priced from $66,990.
Powered by Volkswagen’s 132kW/400Nm, 2.0-litre biturbo engine, the ‘Edition 25’ Multivan is only available in ‘Candy White’ paint with grey/anthracite Nappa leather interior.
On the outside, the Volkswagen Multivan ‘Edition 25’ runs a distinctive look with a matte black roof and bumper highlights, black door handles and black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside is an up-rated eight-speaker audio system, anti-glare rearview mirror and extra safety in the form of Volkswagen’s Lane Change Assist system which provides an LED warning light in the exterior mirrors when it is unsafe to change lanes. There’s also front fog-lights, daytime running lights, tyre pressure indicator, rain-sensing wipers and automated latching for the sliding side doors.
The Volkswagen Multivan ‘Edition 25’ also scores a sportier suspension set-up with a stiffer anti-roll bar.
