Subaru has rolled-out the updated 2016 model year WRX and STI lineup with enhanced specifications and some price cuts – for example the WRX STI goes down by $500 to $49,490.
Subaru WRX gains 18-inch alloy wheels as standard while WRX Premium and WRX STI Premium boost the Vision Assist technologies with the addition of Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Change Assist, High Beam Assist, Side View Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert plus power-folding exterior mirrors and inside an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Entry level WRX picks-up a new 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with WRX Premium and STI Premium going further with an integrated 7.0-inch system with extra functionality and Pandora internet radio compatibility.
