Kia’s competent Sorento mid-size SUV receives some major changes with freshened models due in Australia by the end of the year.
Most noticeable are new front and rear designs with new bumpers, lights (including LED fronts and rear combination), a new tailgate and vertical axis fog lights. Kia says the facelifted Sorento will also offer a wider choice of alloy wheel designs including larger 19-inch versions.
Inside, the improved Kia Sorento will be offered in black or beige cloth or leather trim and will highlight a new LCD instrument cluster with an eight-inch display screen and a new console.
Mechanically, Kia says the facelifted Sorento will benefit from an enhanced bodyshell and improved fuel consumption and emissions. Ride and handling also benefit and the Sorento adds extra refinement and safety.
