Nothing significant to report.

2018 Subaru Viziv Performance Concept STI

Subaru has unveiled, with fanfare, its new Viziv Performance STI concept, a high-performance four-door saloon that is pipped to preview the next-generation Subaru WRX STI, much like how the non-STI Viziv Performance Concept we saw last year was said to be a prelude to a new WRX.

The Viziv Performance STI is built quite literally on top of the non-STI Performance concept that we saw last year, with notable additions being various aerodynamic addenda, a more aggressive front end, and pink highlights all over the place (as expected, as it is STI’s signature colour after all). This clearly is not a car for wallflowers.

There are STI centres on the heels and absolutely enormous side sills, though it’s worth noting that the entire lower aerodynamic additions appear to be made of carbon fibre. The rear sees that wing we mentioned earlier, as well as a not-inconsiderable rear diffuser and exhaust housing.

No information was revealed about the powertrain beneath the STI Performance concept, quashing rumours of a highly electrified power plant beneath the skin (with deafening silence). We’d also love to say more about anything else about this concept car, but we’re afraid that that’s about it. We hope you like the photos.
