Although not yet a 100 per-cent guaranteed starter for Australian sales, Subaru has confirmed its upcoming , new rear-wheel-drive sports coupe will be called ‘BRZ’.
Subaru says that nomenclature stands for ‘Boxer’, ‘Rear-wheel-drive’, ‘Zenith’.
Production is due to commence in the second quarter of next year.
Expect a BRZ concept to highlight Subaru’s display at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.
