Good news for SsangYong fans at the Frankfurt Show where the Korean company will debut a petrol-powered version of its competent Korando compact SUV. Currently the Korando is only sold with a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel.
SsangYong will also premiere a production-ready version of its all-new SUT-1 ute at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
A cutting-edge design, in the SsangYong style, the SUT-1 was shown as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March. No word yet on Australian plans or the future of the Actyon ute.
And SsangYong will display the XIV-1 concept SUV. This is a development of the Korean company’s previous XUV-1 concept and SsangYong says the name comes from ‘eXciting user Interface Vehicle’.
