“Inspired by the legendary creature that is revered in China, ‘The Year Of The Dragon Collection’ has been created to celebrate the ultimate symbol of power, prosperity and good fortune,” Rolls-Royce said.

Each Rolls Royce Phantom or Phantom extended wheelbase kitted with the ‘Year Of The Draghon’ collection scores a gold-painted dragon hand-painted on the side, the design inspired by the Forbidden City in Beijing.

Inside the leather of every headrest gets an embroidered dragon using a combination of four thread colours – Tan, Golden Sand, Black and White. As well, the passenger panel gains the Phantom model name and dragon design hand inlaid for each car.

Customers select their own individual interior colours and Rolls-Royce supplies each car with two hand-stitched cushions for the rear seat with double R-R logos and piping to match the chosen colour. Customers also select modern or traditional marquetry which is laser-cut and then hand-assembled to match their veneer choice.
