Lexus has joined other Japanese brands in passing-on price reductions thanks to Australia’s free trade agreement with Japan.
Abolition of the five per-cent duty charge sees reductions for Lexus CT, IS, ES, GS, LS, RX and LX models.
The cuts range from $2,000 for the CT 200h to more than $8,600 for the LS limo.
It’s good news for Lexus buyers as Toyota’s premium brand celebrates its 25th anniversary.
“Now we can offer our existing model lines with even more competitive pricing to allow more customers to experience the vast benefits of Lexus ownership,” Lexus Australia boss Sean Hanley explained. “The ownership experience is built on enhanced features, leading technology, design, unmatched reliability and a rewarding driving experience.”
