Almost slipping under the radar at the Geneva Motor Show was the SsangYong SUT 1 Concept.
While it was labeled as a concept vehicle, the newcomer is actually the replacement for the Actyon ute and is slated for global launch next year. Dimensions are the same as the current Actyon – 4965mm long, 1,900mm wide and 1755mm high with a wheelbase of 3060mm.
Expect the new SsangYong ute to be offered in both two and four-wheel-drive with power from the 114kW/360Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine recently introduced in the Korando SUV.
And like the Korando, the new Actyon ute boasts looks which are modern and more mainstream – a clear improvement over some of SsangYong’s previous styling efforts.
