The new Isuzu D-Max SX 4x4 crew ute slices $1800 off off-road action.
Isuzu has added a new lower-priced model to its four-wheel-drive diesel one-tonne ute/cab chassis range – the SX 4x4 crew cab ute.
Priced at $38,200, the new SX model still carries an impressive array of standard equipment including a Limited Slip Differential, ABS anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, power widows and door locks and a CD/FM/AM MP3 audio system.
The SX shares the excellent 3.0-litre common rail turbo diesel engine fitted to the rest of the D-Max models. Maximum power is 120kW and peak torque is a handy 360Nm.
With a three-tonne towing capacity, 250mm ground clearance and sturdy undercar guards for the sump, transfer case and fuel tank, the D-Max 4x4 lineup is well-prepared for heavy duty work on and off-road.
Isuzu has also added standard dual front airbags to its basic farm spec EX model 4x4 single cab chassis model now priced at $29,900. Dual airbags are now standard across the D-Max lineup.
