Mercedes-Benz doesn’t do things by small measures and now the German giant has revealed a fresh global onslaught with 16 new models and a world-wide advertising blitz.
Among the new arrivals are two more compact vehicles – the B-Class F-Cell and A-Class E-Cell. In total, Mercedes-Benz says the 16 new models will all be on sale by the end of next year.
Underlining its commitment to the environment, Mercedes is also set to roll-out further initiatives under its BlueDIRECT umbrella – including all-new V6 and V8 engines with fuel consumption up to 24 per cent lower than their predecessors. ECO start/stop will also become standard across the Mercedes model lineup.
The advertising campaign has already commenced overseas with the title “The best or nothing” and featuring actual Mercedes-Benz employees. As part of the campaign, the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star logo gets a fresh appearance with a contemporary three-dimensional appearance and highly polished chrome finish.
With sales already up 16 per cent since 2010, Mercedes-Benzis certainly flexing its muscles and all of this is good new for its customers who will enjoy even greater levels of excellence. The company says Mercedes-Benz customers expect nothing less than technological leadership and it is set to deliver in a big way.
