Mazda Australia is continuing the fun tradition of letting celebrities get behind the wheel and race in anger around the Albert Park F1 circuit. The latest signing is singer and songwriter Megan Washington.
Megan Washington will be joined in the Mazda3 Celebrity Challenge, by UK travel writer and adventurer Charley Boorman, Australia’s first ever Olympic snowboarding gold medallist Torah Bright as well as cycling speed demon Robbie McEwen.
After tearing up the track Megan will also be getting punters to tear up the dance floor as she has also been revealed as a performer on the all Aussie line-up at the ‘Sounds on the Circuit’ on Saturday 15 January at the 2014 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
“It has been a while since I've had the chance to play in Melbourne, so to perform at the Australian Grand Prix is an exciting opportunity for me!” said Megan Washington.
“The show will be a breeze compared to the Celebrity Challenge! I can't actually believe I'll be racing around the Formula One circuit - has anyone seen me drive?"
