Mazda’s eagerly-awaited all-new MX-5 sports car took centre stage at the Los Angeles Auto Show and, as expected, Mazda Australia confirmed the newcomer will arrive in Australia with a choice of engines – 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre.
Mazda says Australia will be the only global market to offer the engine choice for the good-looking all-new MX-5.
Official power and torque figures have been with-held but speculation points to 120kW for the 2.0-litre and 100kW for the 1.5-litre.
Australian launch of the all-new Mazda MX-5 is still some time away but www.carshowroom.com.au has been told we’ll be driving the new lineup early next year.
