Visiting the annual Goodwood Festival Of Speed in definitely on Car Showroom’s ‘Bucket List’ - this year’s event in Britain has special significance for sports car fans with a prototype of the Infiniti EMERG-E tackling the hillclimb circuit.
In fact Australian Red Bull F1 driver Mark Webber will be behind the wheel as the Infiniti EMERG-E makes its first public test run.
First shown at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the Infiniti EMERG-E is a mid-engined hybrid sports car. Initial design work and construction of the prototype was completed in England.
With so much happening in Europe, the crowds attending the Goodwood Festival Of Speed will actually see the Infiniti EMERG-E in action, long before many of Infiniti’s management team in Hong Kong and Japan have seen it!
Another Infiniti highlight at Goodwood will be Webber’s world champion Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel who is tackling the hillclimb circuit within the Estate of Earl of March in one of the Infiniti FX ‘Vettel Edition’ models he helped create.
