Lexus will highlight its LF-Gh concept luxury sedan at July’s Australian International Motor Show (Melbourne).
The hybrid-powered LF-Gh points to a future premium luxury sedan from Lexus.
Its local appearance will be only the second time Lexus has shown the LF-Gh after its debut in April at the New York Auto Show.
Looks are impressive – the latest installment in Lexus’ ‘L finesse’ design mantra highlights a more purposeful, performance-oriented on-road stance than the current GS and LS designs. Certainly not what we’ve come to expect from hybrid vehicles.
Lexus says the LF-Gh’s aggressive grille will highlight future designs from Toyota’s premium brand. Naturally, as a hybrid, that grille is just part of an overall picture – the Lexus LF-Gh features significant details designed to smooth airflow for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
“The LF-Gh grille really is a powerful design element in its own right – it will become a signature Lexus design element,” explained Lexus Australia chief, Tony Cramb.
The Australian International Motor Show kicks-off at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre on 1 July and runs for 10 days.
