Since 1963 Lamborghini cars have been equipped with Pirelli tyres and to celebrate that partnership a special Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition has been announced.
Available in both Roadster and Coupe models, the Pirelli Edition Lamborghini Aventador is available for order now with deliveries starting mid next year.
The special V12 sports car will boast a two-tone colour scheme (matte black or gloss black roof and a choice of 10 colours for the lower sections.
And a thin red stripe (the Pirelli signature) runs over the roof and engine cover with subtle Pirelli branding on the roof.
Inside is black Alcantara with red contrast stitching and a matching thin red ‘Pirelli’ strip in the hoodlining and a ‘Pirelli Special Series’ plaque.
Of course the Lamborghini Aventador uses its Audi-developed all-wheel-drive system to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds – and you need special tyres for that sort of performance.
