Lamborghini has confirmed its range-topping, all-new Aventador LP700-4 will make its Australian debut in July at the Australian International Motor Show (Melbourne).
The Aventador replaces the iconic Lamborghini Murcielago and is powered by the Italian marque’s superb 6.5-litre V12 engine with 515kW/690Nm, drving all four wheels via a seven-speed transmission.
Lamborghini has switched to a carbon fibre monocoque of the Aventador – the newcomer tips the scales at just 1575kgs and covers zero to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Top speed is 350km/h.
Featuring high-lift ‘scissor doors, the Aventador brings sharp lines and a much more aggressive look to the Lamborghini lineup.
Technology ramps-up inside too with a TFT-LCD instrument cluster.
The Australian International Motor Show, at Melbourne’s Exhibition Centre, kicks-off on 1 July and runs for 10 days.
