For those who are heading to the Australian Open make sure you keep an eye out for the Kia Wolverine Sorento, which is inspired by the latest film in the X-Men series.
If things turn nasty in Melbourne whilst the Tennis is on, the stars will be able to use the Kia Wolverine Sorento to escape danger.
If however it stays safe and calm then players, officials and guests will be chauffeured around in 107 Kia courtesy cars that were handed over by KMAu Chief Operating Officer Damien Meredith to Tennis Australia.
“For almost a decade and a half Kia has been an integral and recognisable associate of the Australian Open,” Mr Meredith said. “Over that time it has been Kia’s honour to be a proud sponsor of one of the world’s most iconic sporting events.
“The athleticism, enthusiasm and professionalism displayed by the many competitors at the Open is a fine example of the core values treasured by Kia as a product and a company.”
Most of the 107 strong fleet is made up of 70 Kia Sorentos, 14 Kia Carnivals, 12 Kia Optimas and 11 Kia Souls
The fleet gets a fair workout over the duration of the tournament with the Kia cars being driven by 215 volunteers who clock up over 400,000 kilometres.
