Well Europe is heading into winter so it’s appropriate Jeep will use the Frankfurt Motor Show to unveil the Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition.
To be launched in European markets, the Jeep Wrangler Polar edition will be offered in both two-door and four-door guise powered by the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine or 2.8-litre turbo-diesel.
With exclusive styling cues and 18-inch gloss black wheels, the Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition is clearly winter-themed.
In fact, the ‘Polar’ badge on the front fenders indicates 78-degrees South, 106-degrees East – the co-ordinates of Vostok, Antarctica, location of the world’s most-severe recorded weather (-89.2 degrees).
Inside is black leather with contrasting white stitching, high-gloss ceramic white trim highlights and Mopar tread-pattern slush mats.
Paint colour is ‘Hydro Blue’ and underneath is the best off-road equipment Jeep offers – including the Dana axles.
Don’t file this one under ‘T’ for Toorak Tractor’.
