The Jeep Wrangler range has been upgraded for 2009 to offer even better value for money and wider range of choices for customers focused on customising this ultimate off-road vehicle. Starting at $31,590 for the base model and reaching $46,990 for the range topping Rubicon. The 2.8-litre CRD engine now delivers 460 Nm of torque when coupled to the automatic transmission, compared with an unchanged 410 Nm for manual diesel models. Sport automatics have a 3.73 axle ratio instead of the previous 4.10. Unlimited variants score an 85-litre fuel tank (up from 79). Jeep's special Dual Top has now been standardised on all Unlimited variants.
