Jeep has let out a couple of images that sneaks a peek at the concept vehicles that it will unveil for the 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari that will take place in Moab, Utah between March 19th and 27th. Hint: Jeep says they've got seven concepts up their sleeve.

These two images detail the Jeep Wrangler “Trailcat” concept and the Jeep “Crew Chief”, but what the remaining five concepts will look like or be called is still left entirely ambiguous. Seeing as how they’re both Wrangler-derived, can Jeep be leaving room for a Cherokee or Renegade-esque concept for show at Moab?

The Jeep “Crew Chief” Concept is an telling choice of name, especially considering that at the 2015 Easter Jeep Safari, the brand brought along their Jeep Chief concept which, despite having Wrangler underpinnings, is a modern interpretation of the 1970s era Jeep Cherokee.

Although, the dark green paint of the Crew Chief illustration does evoke thoughts of Jeep’s military heritage. But that, at best, is an educated guess. We’ll have to toward the month’s close to see what Jeep has in store.
