A new jaguar XF 2.2-litre diesel is currently on the road from New York City to Los Angeles in the latest fuel consumption test for the British marque.
The 4510kms journey will cross 11 North American states and drivers David and Alexander Madgwick plant to arrive in Los Angeles on 14 November.
The official combined cycle fuel consumption for the brilliant new Jaguar XR 2.2 diesel is 5.4l/100kms so it will be interesting how the luxury mid-size sedan performs in the real world on American roads.
