The Infiniti QX30 concept car, an all-new compact SUV for Nissan’s prestige brand is set to be unveiled at Geneva.
Infiniti does desperately need a compact SUV so expect a production version of the QX30 to be fast-tracked.
Naturally it heads down the now familiar route of a coupe-style look with an aggressive glasshouse profile and curved roof.
The 21-inch wheels may not make production and the wild C-pillar and radically curved tailgate may be toned-down.
And the inward-tracking roof rails may not get the green light from the snow-skiing and mountain bike set…but a clever idea nonetheless.
“The QX30 Concept design conveys a sophisticated gritty sense of strength and durability, but tough doesn’t mean rough,” explained Infiniti’s design director Alfonso Albaisa.
